The Streeters met up this morning to embark on our crazy but fun project -- to stencil our shirts for ORA, which will be coming soon. Boy, it turned out way better than I thought it would man. In fact, the words that we did on the shirts really looked like they were printed! :D It's a pity I don't get to wear an orange shirt though... Haiz...

Anyway, I need to tell you how tired I am today. I dozed off for the first half of the Maths lecture today, and I wasn't the only one in the lecture theatre. In fact, it seemed like everyone had caught this sleeping bug or something.

And yes, today was the day for the J1s' EXCO nomination, as well as for ORA practice. I'm kinda tired, doing the same choreography for the third time in a performance. Tell me how exciting that is... -.- But that was not before some crazy Chinese translation game that came out of nowhere. Heh. I'm not too bad with my Chinese after all...

By the way, there's this huge moth I spotted in school a few days ago and now I've spotted it again. Kinda freaky though.

This huge moth was on the wall in our school... Heh.

Yay I finally got a new wallet after such a long time. My old one totally looked like it was going to fall into pieces anytime soon. And I got a new pair of shoes too (it has orange streaks on it!!! :D)... Similarly, my sneakers looked like it was going to fall apart any moment, plus the fact that water would seep in through the soles and engulf my whole feet in water the minute I step on a puddle. At least things have changed for that matter.

My mum and I went out for a breather today at Suntec City. As usual, we would hang around in a cafe for around an hour or so, just sipping on a drink and possibly munching on a slice of very expensive cake, and you know, feel like the royal family for a short while. Heh.

I don't know why I'm so tired nowadays. It seems like I'm getting more tired by the day. *sigh*

Apparently no one really regards fire drills as something serious or important anymore. When the alarm sounded off around the 2nd period, everyone just kinda took their time to stroll over to the main assembly area at the field. In fact, when everyone was finally at the field (or so I suppose), classes started camwhoring to 'commemorate' this 'special day'. Of course, that meant that our class couldn't resist a class photo too.

Anyway, we were all talking about how we should have a class picnic next time there is a fire drill, and probably everyone can bring food for pot luck. Haha. It definitely beats just stoning around in the field under the sweltering heat of the sun for a good half an hour or so. Damn. Now I sound like I'm writing some essay.

All right, now for the good news! 92% of the cohort in our school has managed to score an A in Project Work for 'A' Levels! :D Gosh, I kinda forgot that something like that actually terrorized my life last year. Woah, and I'm not sure if it's a new record for our school, but it sure is a good result! Everyone's eyes were practically glued onto the clock nearer to 11.40am, anticipating anxiously (and excitedly) for the release of the first part to our 'A' Levels results. Our class was particularly funny I say. Those who did not have a lesson during the 1-hour block when the results were released were all camping outside the classroom waiting for Leonie to come back with the results. The very moment we saw her we just ran up to her and followed her all the way to our homeroom where she announced the results. And yes, everyone in our class got an A! Woohoo! :D Our class totally rocks the socks man. And when I walked past the other classroom in which Qing Yu, Xin Ran and Yuxin were in and mouthed the results to them, they practically just jumped for joy in the middle of class! Haha... XD

Woohoo I've never felt so high for such a long time already. I really hope I'll feel this way on the day of the release of 'A' Levels next year. I'm a step into getting good grades already, so I will work really hard for the other As! Ganbatte! :D

Haiz. The human geography paper was disappointing. I managed to only scrape a B for it, exactly how I did for physical geography. Dammit. I guess I was too confident for it, thinking that I got the answer correct, without realizing that there needed to be a clearer organization and structuring, plus more elaboration. *sigh*

I realized that I seemed to be scraping my grades, as I scraped an A for Maths too. It's ironic how Maths is now supposedly my best and highest-scoring subject, when about a month or two ago I was still complaining about how damn hard it was. But I'm really thankful, especially since this time round's Maths paper was honestly relatively simpler, also due to the nature of the topic. There are only so few questions a topic like Vectors can come out with, so practice will really help. I'm glad my efforts paid off and I'm relieved that I had put in effort into practising and studying instead of giving up.

I hate our instructor (no, not Orange of course). He's such a bitch I tell you, for treating me like a total slave and making me run an errand at the expense of missing out on part of the learning for the choreography. Famous people can just be so arrogant and cocky at times. Instead, i had to rely on myself to catch the part which I had missed by observing everyone else.

*sigh* Whatever happened to life being fair? Nahh... Never gonna happen...

i'm gonna have to take you back to church

I know alot of people are gonna kill me for this, but I really am disappointed with my results. I got an E for my Economics paper, which happened to be 1 mark higher than Shirlynn (how I even managed this feat I have absolutely no idea). For my physical geography paper, it was a B but I just scraped past to get that grade (i.e. my marks were on the dot). *sigh* At this rate I'm going, I'm kinda uncertain about 'A' Levels. Yet again I'll probably be killed for saying that statement. But I'll work really, really hard for better grade. It's the only way.

Anyway, our clique finally celebrated Yuxin's birthday after school today! We prepared a total of 9 donuts for her (thanks Pei Khee!) and had to make do with a candystick as candles for her. We woke her up (oops XD) and celebrated for her in our homeroom. Yay I'm so glad everything went well... :D And yes, who could forget the clique's birthday card for her?

Orange's session today was totally rockin' man! It was intense and fast-paced, but it was refreshing. Woah. I really do see a potential in this item for Dance Night, and I'm so proud to be part of it. The choreography we did today was to the song "Church" by T-Pain, and I totally love the choreography man. Woohoo! :D Ah yes, there is this really hilarious farting incident, which I shouldn't elaborate lest I embarrass someone, but I guess several people reading my blog should understand what this means right? Hahaha... XD

On a side note, the panda vs polar bear conversation in the morning was really hilarious huh? *ahem* Hahahaha.... XD Pandas do live in the South Pole, don't they? haha... Sorry I'm totally laughing my ass off.

Anyway, yea I've gotta start working harder. Haiz...

*yawn* I think I've over-exhausted myself yesterday by being so high and all. So much that today I'm really, really tired. It's like this wave of exhaustion that hits you real hard, and your muscles just seem to ache anywhere possible.

But I definitely had no regrets going for Street camp! Heh I think I would regret it if I had not gone for it instead. Imagine all the fun I would have missed out on. *shudder*

Gosh, ok I'm really beat. Guess I have to go catch up on more sleep or rest at the very least...

4 April

The day has come, finally. I'm grateful that I was still allowed to attend today's section of Street camp. Well, I still wished that I had attended camp yesterday, but the minute I hit the couch at home, this wave of lethargy instantly swept me away to the extent that I decided to turn in really early. I totally slept like some wooden log. Haha...

Anyway, before going to school, I was waiting at the basement of Junction 8 for both the Sweet Secrets confectionery shop and Fairprice supermarket to open, so that I could get both Yuxin's birthday cake as well as the napkins, forks, spoons and plates for the camp.

Station games had just commenced when I finally arrived in school. I was in the same group as Eileen, Tessa, Xinyi, Wee Kien and Yuping, and apparently our group name was Dover, though I have absolutely no idea why we were named after a train station. Haha. The first station game was the Telephone Game, but with a dance incorporated into it. Different members of the team had to stand out at different places while passing down a short choreography. I didn't oin in for this part as they had already started. Bummer.

The second game was charades, where together with a "rival" group, we'll have to guess the name of a dancer by running up to a wall full of small balloons and being the first the burst the balloon with our bare hands. We got off to an early lead, but eventually tied with the other group.

Next, it was a game of Twister, with a new twist, literally. There were red, green, blue and yellow squares both on the wall and on the floor and we had to try to move our whole group across from one side to the other through "strategic planning" of steps to take. Woah. For a moment, this game really felt like a gymnastics stunt course as we were all in rather awkward positions. Lol.

Finally, it was the game which saw bruised knees and injured elbows (yes, me included) as we competed against yet another "rival" group by crawling under the tables through the course and having to answer questions pertaining to Street upon reaching the point where both groups met. It was really fun, but after that, I discovered this really big bruise on my right knee, which also started to hurt.

After station games, as we Streeters always love to do it, we went through this whole big scam and "lecture" about how punctuality is a big issue, only to later reveal the birthday cake to celebrate Yuxin's birthday! Hahaha... Yuxin was actually stumped and did not see this coming and was clapping her hands joining in the birthday song, before actually realizing that it was for her!

Woohoo and later on, Street Night finally began in LT2! :D Ok, even though it was rather ironic that Street Night was held in the afternoon, but we couldn't get that part of the proposal approved, so oh well... The groups went in this order:

Group 1 -- Shamira, Weijie, Dat, Stella, Xinyi
Group 2 -- Yee Siang, Jarrell, Meng Xia, Wee Kien
Group 3 -- Christel, Shona, Yihuan, Chrisanda
Group 4 -- Tessa, Rachel Lim, Yen Lin, Yuping

Woohoo the performances were all stunning and we could see the immense pool of potential in the J1s. Good ideas, good formations, good choreography etc... Yay! :D Street has now officially secured a promising future. It felt like a whole graduation ceremony from Street Night. Haha. And yes, there were dance battles as well as a fashion parade too, which was something new compared to last year's Street Night.

Sadly, I couldn't go to Kenneth's house for a sleepover after taht, as much as I really wanted to. Still, I had alot of fun today in Street camp.

Woohoo Streeters, I love you all to bits man! <3

3 April

I guess it is really in my nature to not be able to let things go so easily. I don't know. I really wish that I could go for Street camp today, even though I'm already allowed to go for the camp tomorrow. I still wanna go today, and I want it really bad. I would really give anything to just attend camp today.

*sigh* Even though the main activities will be conducted tomorrow, I still really hope that I didn't have to miss out on any part of the fun. I know I will be missing out alot, especially for the right activities. It's like a heartache, and a really bad ache. Oh man. When I went over to the gathering area for the start of camp to hand the money for the camp over to Chelsea, everyone was already starting to interact and bond, yet I'm gonna miss out on all that until tomorrow. And I felt really, really awful having to leave right after that. When I left the room filled with all the excited voices, my soul was left behind too, but my physical self was shut out from all these.

I really hate myself. I hate myself for not being able to go for the camp. I hate myself for being so attached to Street. I hate myself for always letting my emotions get the better of me.

I wish I could sleep, but I can't. I wish I could sleep now and get today done and over with, so that I can go to camp right away tomorrow. Dang. Sleep dammit. Sleep!
